Our Story
In 2015, determined to quit my job, I spent the last $500 I had on 100 custom pins of an all-black owl design. If I could find 100 people to buy them, I could recoup my costs and do two new releases. I used a lot of matches at the time so I stuck the pins in empty matchbooks as packaging — and ended up selling them all. My friend Louis suggested we call the company Strike Gently.

Since that first weird owl pin, we’ve released 1000+ products, and built a community of 1m+ followers and 500,000+ customers. We do everything in-house, from design to customer service. 
Our pins are made with gold, silver or black-plated metals (either iron, nickel or zinc depending on the complexity of the design). Every pin is hand-filled with enamel. It's an intensive production process, and we only release/restock 95 pieces of each design at a time. 

Our blankets are loom-woven, not printed. They are 100% cotton and made in the USA. They are machine washable and we suggest using a regular wash cycle and a low-heat dryer setting.
 
Return Policy
We offer 30-day returns or exchanges. If something arrives defective or breaks, we offer a 1-year free replacement policy.

Shipping Info
We ship via USPS Ground Advantage with a $5 flat rate. Orders over $49 ship free. Please allow 3-5 business days for us to pack your order and 3-4 days for USPS to deliver. 

Blankets ship from our bigger warehouse in North Carolina, and everything else ships from our little office in LA, so if you order both in the same order expect two different packages + tracking #'s! 

INTERNATIONAL: we have brought this back due to demand. We ship via GlobalPost for a flat rate of $20. We are not responsible for customs charges / international shipping issues. Please order internationally at your own risk. 
 
We pack and ship your orders ourselves, rather than outsourcing to a third party firm, so we can make sure we satisfy every customer, include free gifts, etc. This is why our processing time is 3-5 days. We are a small business with 7 employees, not Am*zon. Tracking info will be emailed to you automatically once your order ships. 

If there is any issue with your order, please email us by responding to your order confirmation or submitting the form on this page. We will make sure to take care of you if there is any issue. Please only email once, and expect 24-48hr for a response. Provide your order # and specific details so we can fix your issue ASAP.
